Who We Are
The principal of Dawley Advisory is Mr Mike Canny. He has extensive experience at senior management level and in consulting within Australia and in Asia. Prior to establishing Dawley Advisory he held a variety of general management, market development and strategic management roles within CSR Limited in a career spanning 23 years.

Mike's experience has included roles in Sydney, and Melbourne and in China, where he was responsible for CSR Ltd’s joint venture operations. He holds Civil Engineering and Town planning qualifications. Mike is a Member of the Institute of Company Directors and has held board positions for both commercial and not-for-profit organisations.

Mike’s experience includes working with the government and research sectors and small businesses. Whilst he is used to working with large organizations, Mike is no stranger to start-up situations, having been hands-on in developing a number of manufacturing businesses in Asia. He has presented at seminars and published a number of papers on doing business in China.

A passionate South Australian, Mike recently attended the SA Economic Summit as representative of the Construction Industry and the Committee for Adelaide Roads.
